QUOTATIONS

" Some people live every day as if it were their last, I live each day as if it were the first one in the rest of my life"

" To love and to be loved and then to be no longer loved is then to be no longer, for to simply be is not enough"

" When I'm good I'm very good; but when I'm bad, I'm even better!"

" We only take care of things we LOVE, We only love the things we UNDERSTAND, We only understand what we are TAUGHT; So, TEACH your children well”

" In the order of things, it is not what we do for ourselves for which we shall be remembered, rather it is what we do for others that earns us a place in history"

" I am the sum of my past, you are my present, we will be the future"

POEMS

JUST A MAN

I have felt the cold, dark waters of my hell
tapping gently at my dancing feet.
I've soared the bright blue skies alone
and felt the sunshine warm my soul.

I am of the earth and of the sky
I live the low and dream the high

You brought me love
You brought me hope
You are my high
Beyond the sky

You warm me more than sunshine can
But that's because I'm just a Man.

THE BIRD

In autumn's waning days
As leaves spread many ways
And winter winds began to blow
While rushing rivers ceased to flow
I chanced upon a lonely bird
Who's call remained unheard
By other birds who flew
To warmer climes, its true.

As winter winds did blow
And from the heavens fell the snow
This bird and I did share
those things in life so rare
I loved that bird with all my heart
and feared the day that we would part.
